In collaboration with CONTOURS Soft Design (Oliver Schwartz,
Helena Grintzalis) we created the signage system for the
Pôle des langues et civilisations.
The Pôle des langues et civilisations is the fusion of the BULAC and INALCO.
The visual language of the signage system reflects on the complexity
and connections of this two institutes and the knowledge, information you can
get there. Also the bricks of the architecture were a strong reference.
We decided to install a big mobile in the entrance hall, by taking the visual
middle of the building and starting at one point, from which the BULAC
and INALCO continues…
It is telling the visitors the main directions and is giving them
an elegant and poetic access to the building.
